5 things you might not know about clipping paths
Quality clipping paths have only as many points on them as absolutely necessary. More points means lower quality.

You can alter the feather radius on the clipping paths we deliver to adjust the tightness of the cut. In general you’ll want a setting between 0 (no feather) and 3.

Native psd files support clipping paths (of course), but so do jpegs. Pngs do not, though - so beware. Photoshop can make it look like pngs contain your path - but as soon as you send them to someone else there will be no path. To send pngs use the path to make a cutout and send the image with a transparent background.

One image can contain multiple paths. So if you have many things in one photo, they can each be masked individually.

There’s no shortcut to a good path. Things like converting a selection to a path, however you do it, create poor quality clipping paths with too many points and low accuracy.
